Amed – East Bali

Amed is a village on the northeast coast of Bali. Many beaches in the area have black volcanic sand as they are close to Mount Agung, Bali’s largest volcano. The coastline is home to many fishermen, who sail out early morning in their traditional “Jukung” outrigger canoes to catch fish in the surrounding waters.
